Christmas came early - Bintan 2015

Christmas came early with my retreat to the coastal island of Bintan! Documenting

pictures of my recent and maiden trip to Bintan through photos because I believe that pictures speak a thousand words. The vacation was extremely blissful but short-lived. Stayed for two nights at the Swiss-bel Hotel, where the tenants were so scarce, we almost felt like exclusive guests, treated very kindly by cordial staff.

Like in a dream, we frolicked in clear blue waters at a rooftop overlooking spacious land. drove past a gargantuan lake at sunset, and bathed in the golden hues of the sun at a beach - with the sea breeze blowing mercilessly against our faces. In the evenings, we sauntered past festive decorations aglow with colorful lights, and fell to sleep in a cradle of bliss and relaxation, with no worries about the next day. Food was savored in abundance; there was no lack of fulfillment for the heart and the stomach.

Now I'm back home, ready to take on the challenges of a new year, and new adventures.
